Biographie

Professor

Christophe Besson was born in 1970. He received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne, Switzerland (EPFL), in 1995.

Following graduation, he worked as a Researcher in MMT SA, Besançon, France, in the field of electric actuators and sensors. From 1999 to 2002, he has been with ETEL SA, Môtiers, Switzerland, as R&D Motors Manager. Since 2002, he is Professor of Electric Machines at the University of Applied Sciences of Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland. His research interests include the modelling and the design of electrical machines and electromagnetic devices.
